Meet the Owner: Chef Janice
"I started baking when I was young. At that time, I thought baked goods only came out of a box! Then my neighbor gave me my first scratch cookie recipe. I thought "what is this magic!", and from then on, I was hooked! (Thank you Mrs. Mills.)

I added cake decorating to my repertoire when my kids were young and took the Master Class at Wilton School of Cake Decorating way back in the 1900's (1990's to be exact).

Always the student I continued trying new things and eventually received a degree in pastry arts online from the great Escoffier Culinary School. This included internships in Chicago and Iowa City. (Thank you Adam!)

During this time I also began studying with the great Maggie Austin to learn the art of sugar flowers. This is my passion and a specialty that I offer.

After opening my first bakery in Bettendorf, IA which I eventually sold when I moved to Montana for a few short years, I am back in the wonderful midwest that I love so much and look forward to bringing you so many treats and memories."
